About
I like to call myself a "Ran of Many Trades". I never really settled on one particular path. There are things I have always liked and therefore pursued in jobs, but I didn't do a great job in life setting myself up for a career. My heart jumped from field to field. However there have always been consistencies in my tastes and skills. I have always loved, no lie, LOVED tedious, repetitive, boring work. For fun, I would find new ways to alphabetize my parents CD's (or records... I'm not young). I get deep satisfaction from scrutinizing any piece of writing to make sure there are no errors of any kind. Additionally, I have always wanted to help people. The how has changed over the years but in everything I have had a hand in, I have made a point to find a way to help people. Gather that up and combine it with being fired in such a way by such a person that my trust in any working relationship was shattered. I was terrified to work for anyone else. In my periods of deep thought, depression, and reflection, I recalled a pivotal moment. When we were buying the house of our dreams (NOT our starter house), at both a thrilling and nerve-wracking step in the process (loan signing), a mobile notary was sent out to us. She was nice, friendly, professional, warm, knowledgeable and patient. She put us at ease in that moment, which was just that. Even though we'd know each other for those 30-45 minutes, she made sure we were comfortable. And she covered all her bases. And mentioned how much she enjoys it. I never really put much real estate (pun intended) into that until I wasn't working someone else's job for a minute. Not to sound cliché, but there was a "suddenly, it all made sense" moment. Now here we are. There is more to Notary Public than people think. They can be so essential at very important times.
And that is what I want to do for you. |
